Each week, real estate in all its forms takes up more than 50 hours of my time. I’m hardly complaining, because I love it, but it’s also nice to have a hobby that doesn’t involve looking up median home prices and gauging home buying and selling trends and patterns.
And my hobby of choice is home brewing. In a way, it’s similar to real estate: to find any sort of success, you have to fully commit to putting out a great product. With home brew kits, I find that I can create a uniquely crafted beer that meets my needs as a brew enthusiast, but it’s also an extraordinarily rewarding hobby that allows me to work on non-real estate activities.
My wife first got me started in home brewing when she brought to my attention a number of extremely positive home brew kit reviews; I had considered the idea a few year ago but never thought I would have the time or patience to follow through.
Once I started with my first kit, however, I realized that home brewing isn’t just about making beers yourself, it’s about creating a sustainable and knowledgeable habit that you can take into other aspects of your life. When you can brew your own beer, you have the confidence to take on just about anything!
